Author Annabeth Albert is releasing her story from the Campus Cravings anthology as a singular story with an added epilogue. Winning Bracket focuses on the lives of dorm RAs Ollie and Edwin. Having met their freshman year, one kiss by a drunken Ollie leads Edwin to place all bets for another one. Little did they both know that Edwin would win and the kiss would lead to more bets.
I really enjoyed the story between Edwin and Ollie. Even though they didn't live together, they are like a young Odd Couple. Edwin is all serious and together while Ollie is the life of the party. Cathia's basketball team makes it into the brackets and Ollie convinces Edwin to fill in a bracket. Edwin isn't sure until Ollie suggests they bet each other. Edwin wants another kiss, but this time he wants Ollie to be sober and aware.
My only dislike about this version of Annabeth's story is the added epilogue. Personally, I thought too much detail was given about the ending and it could have been paired down.
